Making Drupal usable and user-friendly: A module showcase
It's no secret that Drupal can be intimidating to new users and to those less-familiar with content management systems. This session will showcase a number of different modules that help make administering Drupal sites more intuitive to those who haven't been hanging out on IRC since the 4.6 release. Use in actual sites will be demonstrated, and there will be time at the end for everyone to share their favorite "killer module" for usability.
Agenda
Tentative list of modules to be presented (may be limited by time):
- active tags
- admin
- admin menu and simplemenu
- hide submit
- imagefield crop
- multistep and cck fieldgroup tabs
- pageroute
- popups
- vertical tabs
Goals
We'll explore some easy, drop-in modules that will make administering and/or contributing to a site more friendly for non-technical and those not experienced with Drupal.
Resources
I'll be conducting the session with live examples of sites using these modules, but I'll post slides with screenshots up here after the fact.

This is a very good example
This is a very good example of the type of thinking that developers have avoided and that designers and administrators need. As far as I know from the articles found by http://www.mp3hunting.com SE, Drupal is very back-end oriented and that is it's greatest strength. While not losing any of that layer, you've captured many of the issues that the end user has to struggle with after the development is done.
Keep up the good work and for the bravery to unveil something at the right time even if it's still a work in progress and even if you were looking for VC for it.
Thanks for very useful tips

Quotes of what i said on #drupal-support
[15:27] but i think the create content beanching needs to go
[15:27] *branching
[15:27] basically the menu a user sees should not have a create menu option
[15:28] just direct, add page, add blog , etc
[15:28] the create menu folder should only appear to admin roles
