Being an independent Drupal Developer or Consultant can be a rewarding way to make a living ... and can mean a nice six figure salary too. But it can also be a huge challenge to go at it alone. Everything from balancing your client load to getting by without the support you find working in a web shop to keeping up with technology. This session is for Independents, people think about being Independents, or those just curious. No experience required.

Sam has been working as an independent Drupal Developer and Consultant since Drupal 4.6 (2004) . He's developed over 40 Drupal sites and specializes in working with nonprofits, Social Entrepreneurs and with independent designers.
